About Us

The Princess of Shoreditch is owned by Scott Hunter and Maria Larsen.  Scott and Maria bought the pub in October 2008 after a year looking for the 'perfect pub'.  The aim is (and always will be) to be the best pub in the area and provide a combination of great food and drink, value for money and warm friendly service in an atmosphere you only get in a good pub.  With experience including michelin starred restaurants, cocktail bars and wine bars the ambition is to combine standards found in top end establishments while keeping the informality of the local pub.  Our passion for doing things properly hopefully shows but we are always here and willing to listen to feedback...

Tap Water For Charity

We take pride in running a responsible business and in an effort to further reduce our carbon footprint we do not sell mineral water. For those who can't be without bottled water we chill and filter our tap water, fizz some of it, bottle it and sell it for £1. We then give the profits to charity!
